Omane Boamah, four others face Appointments committee today

Parliament’s Appointments Committee will vet five nominees today.

The vetting is part of the process to approve the ministers appointed by President John Dramani Mahama.

Dr Omane Boamah, appointed Defence Minister-Designate, will take the vetting seat.

He will be followed by Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum, appointed Minister of State in Charge of Special Initiatives.

The afternoon session will feature Adjei Kenneth Gilbert, the minister-designate for works, housing, and water resources.

Others to be vetted today include Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo, MP, the Minister-designate for the Greater Accra and Charity Gardiner, the Minister-designate for the Ahafo Region.
