Dumsor Must Stop Vigil to hit the streets of Ghana?

Actress Yvonne Nelson has hinted of a Dumsor Must Stop Demonstration in the offing.

She argues that the current government has taken the people for granted and there must be an action that will force them to do better.

The actress is therefore calling on all her collaborators to come on board to ensure that the demonstration takes place in order to drum home the need for a change.

Making her view point known in a tweet on X she said “Imani Ghana, can we organize another vigil? Ive been waiting for you to reach out like you did years back. ( your team made our demo a success ) Im reaching out myself. The NPP and its leadership @NAkufoAddo have taken Ghanaians for granted . #DUMSORMUSTSTOP“.

Yvonne Nelson is known to have led a similar demonstration in Accra when John Dramani Mahama was President.

The demonstration which was well attended was one of the reasons why Ghanaians voted massively against John Dramani Mahama in 2016.

Under John Dramani Mahama the people of Ghana struggled with intermittent power cuts for four years.
