During the maintenance period, comprehensive inspections and necessary upgrades to the infrastructure will be carried out, according to a statement it issued on Wednesday.

This process is crucial for identifying potential issues and implementing corrective measures to enhance the overall performance of the gas facilities.

Ghana Gas has indicated that during the maintenance period, there will be a lean gas supply from the Sankofa OCTP to the Takoradi Distribution Station (TDS).

The press statement signed by Ghana Gas’ Head of Corporate Communications, Ernest Owusu Bempah, assured stakeholders that every effort will be made to complete the maintenance within the specified timeframe to minimise any impact on gas supply.

Additionally, Ghana Gas said it has coordinated closely with its partners and stakeholders to mitigate the effects of the shutdown on the energy sector and the general public.
