Mahama Boy Insults Kufuor In Wheelchair

The Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has found itself at the center of controversy once again, this time due to derogatory comments made by Dela Edem, a member of John Mahama’s national campaign team, against former President John Agyekum Kufuor.

Speaking on TV ZXY, an NDC affiliate station, Edem stated categorical that Ex President John Agyekum Kufuor’s current wheelchair confinement is a direct result of his “evil deeds” during his administration.

“We all saw your bad governance, so don’t think we have forgotten. Your evil deeds have now kept you in the Wheelchair.”

However, unhappy, Dela Edem speaking on the show said Kufuor’s administration was “bad” and that he had amassed wealth by “hoarding Ghanaians’ money”, after changing the Ghana’s currency.

The NDC member’s remarks were further exacerbated by the show’s host, Mugabe Maase, who joined in mocking the former president after attempting to stop him.

This isn’t the first time the NDC has targeted Kufuor.

The party has a history of criticizing the former president despite his contributions to Ghana’s development.
