According Awadada, Anlo Afiadenyigba is an important and a strategic town within the Anlo State with lots of potentials which needs to be rediscovered and exploited, such as; salt mining which is God given and needs to be expanded and redeveloped, Fish farming as a natural resource of the Keta lagoon, Crop Farming should be modernized and lastly, animal rearing which must also be improved scientifically.

He went on to motivate the community to take up responsibility “These developments should be a collective venture, government cannot and should not be looked up to develop all these…let’s do it ourselves, lets invite investors to come on board” Awadada said.

He denied an earlier assertion made by Torgbui Kadzahlo IV, Dufia of Anlo-Afiadenyigba that; there is no market for their local salt. But Awadada refuted by saying; salt is a commodity that cannot lose a market but rather needs an investment that will modernize how it is mined to create jobs for the youth in the area and to avoid its unavailability during the wet season as it happening currently where salt is of a higher price due to the heavy rains that flooded the lagoon hence preventing mining.
