The choice was made considering his track records of hard work, concerns for the development of the area and his support to society among others.

The coronation saw the Oti Regional Minister, Joshua Makubu in attendance who congratulated the newly enstooled chief for his hard work.

He further tasked him to work in collaboration with the people of the area regardless of their political affiliations.

The Regional Minister further lamented at the rate at which, many people do not respect and recognise traditional leaders hence undermined their authorities.

“These people have forgotten that our traditional leaders are the custodians of our land and must be given the due respect” He stated.

According to him, the only time some political leaders also respect and recognise our traditional leaders is when they are seeking for power but forget them after gaining the power.
