You’ve laid a solid groundwork for Ghana’s future – IMF MD to Akufo-Addo

Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund has written to former President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

In the letter, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was praised for his display of leadership for the eight years he had been in power.

The letter indicated that the president has laid a solid foundation for the country’s future.

“I also want to salute the excellent collaboration your government has had with the International Monetary Fund. The recent completion of the third review of the IMF-supported program and the progress made toward restoring macroeconomic stability over the past few years are a testament to a successful partnership.”
