I won’t hand over NPP General Secretary position to a novice – Boadu swears

Current General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) John Boadu has given a strong indication that he will be retained as General Secretary as the party goes to the polls to elect its national officers.

John Boadu believes that as the field marshal of the political party he is supposed to be maintained since the party will be having new leaders occupying various positions in the political party.

“Ahead of the 2024 election, the party will have a new Chairman, a New Flagbearer, a New Organizer, a New Youth Organizer so as the field Marshal, it will be imperative that I’m maintained because I have the experience and I’ve been there and done it,” he said.
