
Ahmed Ibrahim, Naa Momo Lartey and Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare to be vetted today
Parliament’s Appointments Committee will sit today, January 21, 2025, to vet ministerial nominees by the President of Ghana.
This will be the third sitting of the committee in their attempt to fast-track the vetting process to allow the president to form his government.
In all, the committee has vetted six of the appointees so far.
Today, Tuesday, January 21, 2025, the committee is expected to vet Ahmed Ibrahim, MP who is Minister Designate, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs.
After which the Minister Designate, Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, MP will also be vetted.
The final vetting on the day will be Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, MP who is the Minister Designate, Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry.
