The project forms part of a broader national infrastructure drive aimed at accelerating development and stimulating economic growth across the country.

When completed, the Ho–Aflao Road is expected to enhance connectivity across seven constituencies, facilitate smoother movement of goods and services, and strengthen Ghana’s trade relations with neighbouring Togo.

They said the road, when fully completed, would significantly reduce travel time, improve road safety and ease transportation challenges faced by commuters and traders.

Asphalting works are currently progressing steadily from Penyi towards Tokor, with engineers and workers on site intensifying efforts to ensure timely completion.
