Central Tongu MP, DCE assess critical repair works on Adidome–Sogakope road

Mr Alexander Roosevelt Hottordze, Member of Parliament for Central Tongu, together with the District Chief Executive, Mr Addison Dodzi Mornyuie, has undertaken an assessment tour of ongoing patching works on the Adidome–Sogakope road. 

That section of the road had been linked to dangerous and multiple fatal accidents.

The exercise formed part of a targeted intervention to restore the most hazardous portions of the corridor as the contractor is currently working on a 600-metre stretch identified as the most critical, with the repairs expected to substantially enhance road safety and ease movement for motorists and other road users.

Mr Hottordze indicated that additional contractors were scheduled to resume work on other key road networks across the constituency in the coming weeks, reinforcing the government’s commitment to improving transportation infrastructure and accessibility.

He assured residents that both the Assembly and his office would continue to monitor progress to ensure equitable improvements and the delivery of safer, more durable roads across all communities in the constituency.
