Dr Sodzi-Tettey donates furniture to boost learning at KLISTECH
-Dr Sodzi Sodzi-Tettey, Chief Executive Officer of the National Vaccine Institute, has donated 100 tables and chairs to the Klikor Secondary Technical School (KLISTECH) in the Ketu South Municipality to support teaching and learning.
The donation follows an appeal by the school’s Headmaster, Mr Richard Agbeko Bedi, who has been actively seeking support to improve infrastructure and enhance academic performance at the institution.
Presenting the items, Dr Sodzi-Tettey commended Mr Bedi for his proactive leadership and commitment to advancing the school’s development.
He noted that quality learning environments played a critical role in shaping students’ outcomes and urged individuals, corporate bodies, and alumni to support the school’s efforts toward academic excellence.
“Leadership at the school level is key to transformation. When leaders take initiative, it inspires others to come on board and contribute meaningfully,” he said.
Dr Sodzi-Tettey emphasised the importance of investing in education, particularly in technical and vocational institutions, which are essential for skills development and national growth.

Receiving the items, Mr Bedi expressed gratitude to the donor, describing the gesture as timely and impactful.
He said the furniture would help reduce congestion in classrooms and provide a more conducive learning environment for students.
He reaffirmed the school’s commitment to improving academic standards and discipline, adding that the support would motivate both staff and students to work harder toward achieving excellence.
The donation is expected to significantly enhance classroom conditions and contribute to ongoing efforts to strengthen technical education in the area.
