Ho MCE commissions staff accommodation and administration block
Mr Stephen Adom, the Municipal Chief Executive of Ho has commissioned new staff accommodation and academic facilities at the Tanyigbe Senior High School, to improve teaching and learning.
The project was made up of a four-unit two-bedroom accommodation block for male teachers, and a similar facility for female teachers, a was as an administration block for the school.
The administration block also included a library and a computer laboratory to enhance academic work and digital learning.
Mr Adom explained that the project was originally initiated in 2016 by the previous National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, but stalled because of some challenges, but the Municipal Assembly took steps to revive it under the present administration, to ensure its completion.
“In 2025, we re-awarded the project to a new contractor to guarantee its successful execution,” he stated.
Mr Adom noted that the completion of the facilities would help address accommodation challenges faced by teachers and improve administrative efficiency at the school.
He added that the provision of a library and computer laboratory would enhance teaching and learning outcomes, particularly in research and ICT education.
The Municipal Chief Executive reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to investing in educational infrastructure to promote quality education and support development in the municipality.
