A suspected thief met his untimely death Friday dawn after he reportedly jump off one of the residential storey-blocks at the SSNIT Flats in Ho.
Volta Online gathered, the deceased, believed to be in his 20s was said to be escaping from arrest when he jumped from the third floor of the Block 18 building and crushed his head on a pavement.
A resident disclosed that, the incident happened at about 2:30am, but it took more than an hour for the motionless body to be be conveyed to the hospital, where it was pronounced dead.
The incident has left residents of the flat in a state of anxiety, as they appealed for police patrol in the area.
