Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has reiterated his resolve to protect the religious, moral and cultural sanctity of the people of Ghana claiming there will not be space for practicing of LGBTQI+ activities under his watch.
Addressing tribal council of chiefs in Kasoa as part of his central regional campaign tour, the NPP flagbearer said he will resist the practice with all available arsenals to him.
Clad in red, white and blue colours, members of the elephant party in the Awutu Senya East constituency poured out on the streets of Kasoa to welcome Dr Bawumia.
The campaign team visited two constituencies: Awutu Senya East and West to rally more supporters to vote to retain the party in power.In Kasoa, he first met and interacted with party supporters and traders at the Kasoa market where he shared aspects of his manifesto promises with them.
