NPP decides on date for presidential primaries on 31 January, says Justin Kodua

Speaking on Kumasi’s Hello FM, Kodua declared that the NPP would set up procedures to ensure a free and fair internal election.

According to Justin Frimpong Kodua, general secretary of the NPP, the steering committee and the National Executive Council (NEC) of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) will meet on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, to decide when to hold the party’s presidential and parliamentary primaries.

Speaking on Kumasi’s Hello FM, Kodua said the party would set up procedures to make sure an internal election is fair.

The National Executive Council (NEC) and NPP steering committee will meet on January 31, 2023, and they will decide the dates for the two significant party elections, according to Kodua.

“As general secretary of this wonderful party, I pledge to oversee a free and fair internal election to choose our parliamentary and presidential candidates.
