VIDEO: We have weapons for 2024 elections- Tamale South NDC Chairman

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Chairman for Tamale South in the Northern Region, Zaa Nyaya, has disclosed that the party is fully prepared to face the security agencies and the Electoral Commission (EC)  in the December 7 elections.

According to him, the NDC has all the weapons to prepare them for the election just like the security agencies that will be deployed on election day

“ I told the Police Commander that we are prepared for war from today till election day. The weapons they have I swear we also have the same so you wait during voting you will see.”

“ This election that we will have,  we won’t allow NPP even one minute, so we are giving the EC the signal that the police cannot protect them and so they should conduct a free and fair elections.” He warned.

The Tamale South constituency NDC Chairman made this statement during the NDC’s “Enough is Enough “ demonstration in Tamale where hundreds of residents stormed the streets to protest against the Electoral Commission(EC) over its refusal to allow for a forensic audit of the voters’ register.
