I have enough money to buy Chelsea but my lawyers have advised me to stop — Chairman Wontumi

Chairman Wontumi says he is no longer interested in buying Chelsea Football Club, even though he is worth far more the amount the club is selling for.

According to the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, his lawyers and financial advisors have managed to convince him to renounce his interest in the club’s purchase.

He said the decision not to proceed with the bid came out of careful deliberations and considerations regarding the future of other businesses under his Wontumi Group of Companies.

Wontumi, who was speaking to vlogger, Zion Felix, said that his total net worth is 10 billion dollars, which is enough for him to purchase the English Premier League club.

Chairman Wontumi said he is currently working on forming a consortium to promote business in Africa.
