Pentecost gets state-of-the-art temple for Agbevekope Assembly
Dr Daniel Workman Atsu, an Elder of The Church of Pentecost, and his wife, Mrs Lydia Atsu, have built a state-of-the-art church building, for the Agbevekope Assembly, within the Agbozume District, Aflao Area of the Church.
A statement issued by The Church of Pentecost and copied to the Ghana News Agency said the one-storey temple had an air-conditioned conference room, offices, and stores.
It said the building also had a state-of-the-art audiovisual studio, television sets, a LED screen, and church-branded furnishings.
It noted that Elder Dr Atsu also constructed four other church projects, which were the Agbevekope Children’s Ministry Auditorium, Baptistry, Tsivoli, and Govinakope Assembly Auditoriums.
It said other ancillary projects done by him in the community were eight Agbevekope Community Basic School Buildings (including Extension of Water supply and electricity to the school and parts of the community), Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Building, and 21 self-contained Nurses and Teachers flats.
The statement said a special dedication ceremony was held on Tuesday, June 21, at the Agbevekope Auditorium, Agbevekope in the Volta Region.
It said the service was chaired and officiated by Apostle Eric Nyamekye, the Chairman of The Church of Pentecost.
It said the Chairman of The Church of Pentecost was assisted, by Apostle Dr Dela Quampah, an Executive Council Member and Co-ordinator of the Volta and Oti Regional Coordinating Committee and the Ho Area Head of The Church of Pentecost.
