Stop talking down on Gov’t- Baidoo Annobil to TESCON members

The National Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON) coordinator, Mr Samuel Annobil Baidoo has charged TESCON members  to stop speaking ill about the party and government.

Speaking at the Oti regional TESCON conference dubbed “Breaking the Eight, The Role of TESCON”, he observed that, many TESCON members and some youth are talking bad and negatively about the New patriotic party (NPP) on social media regarding issues of the E-Levy.

“We want to break the eight and we must continue to be in government but we can never achieve this with this attitude of joining other Party members on their propaganda to preach bad about the good things His excellency the president is doing for the good people of this country. I challenge you all to stop this attitude if we want to break the Eight.” He said.

According to him, the party will reward anyone who serves the party faithfully and with hard-work adding that, the New Patriotic Party is a dedicated and loving party that loves and rewards its faithful members.

Mr. Baidoo-Annobil advised members to be dedicated to the party and be ready to familiarise themselves with the other party members to speak good about the party even as the party begins the election of the polling station executives.

Addressing the lamentations of the students about their allowances, Mr. Baidoo-Annobil said, the government is doing everything possible to ensure all allowances are paid.

He appealed to all party members and those in the TESCON to speak well about the party to attract more Ghanaians to join and buy the party’s ideologies for effective and good governance, adding that, they should not belittle themselves but rather be on top of issues of the party.

The first regional TESCON conference which was held at Dambai Collage of education, saw many NPP lovers, MDCEs, and the Oti regional minister among other NPP executives.

Meanwhile, the regional TESCON secretariat has appealed to the national executives and the government to provide them with the necessary logistics to work effectively.

The Oti regional TESCON coordinator, Mr Isaac Nkrumah said they lacked computers, printers, means of transport among others to enable the secretariat carry out their duties.

He also recounted the challenges and number of accidents they had just to ensure TESCON members attend conferences and seminars to preach good about the party to others.
