According to Police Investigations, the driver who knocked the motor rider down was using a dodge with registration number GW 8151-18 believed to be an uncustomed car.
The Customs Officers at post noted the car and gave it a wild chase and confusing the driver who run into the motor rider who was then using a blue Tricycle motorbike who died on the spot.
The driver of the Dodge Vehicle and other occupants are said to have escaped in the process whiles the officers also fled the scene to save their lives.
Police MTTD personnel, who got to the scene manage to control traffic, moved the deceased to the district hospital for preservation and towed the Dodge car to the station for necessary action.
Five (05) suspects were picked to assist police with investigations, whilst witness Statements were taken and suspects were detained for necessary action.
