Dr. Bawumia campaign team warns against NDC propaganda tactics
Dennis Miracles Aboagye, who serves as the Communications lead for the Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia campaign team, has urged Ghanaians to be cautious of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) propaganda.
He highlighted that the NDC is employing tactics similar to those used in 2008, aiming to deceive the Ghanaian populace to gain power during a crisis faced by the John Agyekum Kufour government.
In 2008, when the NDC capitalized on issues like fuel shortages and water scarcity to sway public opinion, they resorted to misleading tactics to discredit the NPP government’s efforts.
Aboagye emphasized that history is repeating itself, with the NDC resorting to familiar propaganda strategies to undermine the current administration.
Drawing parallels between the events of 2008 and the present, Aboagye emphasized the continuity of the NDC’s approach over the years.
Despite acknowledging that no leader is flawless, he stressed the importance of a leader who prioritizes the welfare of their people, a quality he believes Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia embodies.
Aboagye reiterated the campaign team’s commitment to presenting a leadership style that advocates for the well-being and interests of the Ghanaian populace.
