Group calls for help to save Keta Kɔlebu Market
The Concerned Citizens of Anloland has called on the Anlo Traditional Council, the Management of the Keta General Hospital as well as government appointees and political actors to help save the Keta Kɔlebu (Shime) market.
According to the group, the land on which the market has stood on since the 1990s has been sold to Ramson Echo Farms, Sunyani, which is now seeking to eject the market women from the land.
The group noted that the destruction of the market would adversely impact the livelihoods of the traders who come from far and wide to trade in that vicinity.
