Keta/VR: MCE Receives First Jab Of Covid-19 Vaccine

The Chief Executive for Keta Municipality Hon. Godwin Edudzi Effah, has today received his jab of the Coronavirus vaccine.

This follows the commencement of the vaccination exercise against the virus in the Volta Region and the Country at large.

Speaking to SandCity Radio, Hon Effah stated that government is poised at protecting all Ghanaians from the ugly spectacle of the Virus, and being a representative of the President in the Keta Municipality, he is privileged to take the first jab of this Covid-19 Vaccine.

He said despite this initiative, some people still have doubts and have decided not to get vaccinated.
He added that the Covid-19 Vaccines are to enable the human body to fight the virus and has no health related problems.

Hon. Effah indicated that there is the need for everyone in the Keta Municipality to get themselves vaccinated since it’s free and would also help eliminate the virus.

The Municipal Health Director, Mr. Emmanuel Cona reiterated the need for all and sundry to get their jabs.

He indicated that as soon as health workers in the Municipality have taken their jabs, measures would be put in place to get everyone vaccinated.
