Popular Ghanaian radio presenter, Nana Romeo has called on those close to the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu to stop people from visiting him unnecessarily.
Speaking on Accra FM, Nana Romeo in a video seen by Zionfelix.net said some of the people visit the residence of the revered religious leader just to take pictures with him.
He stressed the need for those close to him to put measures in place to check these unimportant visits.
The outspoken presenter claimed sometimes it becomes visible that the Chief Imam is tired but these people won’t leave him to rest.
“People visit the Chief Imam every day for no special reason. Mostly just to take pictures with him. Currently, if you’re searching for an elderly person whose image is all over social media, then it’s the Chief Imam and it’s bad,” he said.
Nana Romeo added: “It’s about time that his advisors and the people surrounding him enact laws to regulate such practices. It is really getting out of hand. Sometimes you can tell from the pictures that the man is tired but he had no option. He is grown and therefore needs some rest.”
