Two Volta teams to play at the semi-finals of the ongoing Beach Soccer FA Cup 

Keta Sunsets Sports and Tegbi Ocean Stars have qualified to play at the semi-finals of the maiden Ghana Beach Soccer FA Cup tournament ongoing at LaBoma Beach arena in Accra

The Beach Soccer FA Cup started with 16 teams across the Coastline of Ghana competing for the maiden trophy. Teams such as; Teshie United BSC, Nungua BSC, Adam assurance, Okere Rangers, Cheetahs BSC, Sea Sharks, Tegbi Ocean Stars were among the competitors.

unsets Sport-Keta, Havedzi Mighty Worriors, Vodza Iron breakers, Kedzi miracle BSC, and Tegbi Ocean Stars were the five Volta Regional teams that started the tournament from the preliminary stages.

After two weeks of intense tournament and performances; four teams have qualified to play at the semi-finals on Sunday 12th June and the winners will compete for the ultimate later that day.

Keta Sunsets Sports will be locking horns with Cheetah BSC at 10:00am whiles Tegbi Ocean Stars will be battling Sea sharks at 11:00am.

CEO of Sunset sports, Ruben Dzidodo Adzaho is very optimistic this maiden trophy will come to the Volta Region no matter what.

‘I know we’ll be through to the finals and I will not be surprised if we meet our brothers Ocean Stars at the finals, which means one of us is bringing the trophy home” Ruben said.

Beach Soccer for some years now have gained immense support and publicity with most of the teams based along the coast.

Teams from Volta Region have been very instrumental in the history of Beach Soccer in Ghana.
