Bawumia will neutralise NDC’s stronghold in Northern Regions, says Akomea

Speaking on the Asaase Breakfast Show on Monday (15 January), Akomea said choosing Bawumia will neutralise the strongholds of the NDC in the Northern Regions and Zongos.

“I believe that the best thing that happened to the NPP last year was the election of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as flagbearer,” he said.

“When you look at it objectively, he is the best placed to allow us to retain office, if you look at the branding of the party of the time, it has been branded as a narrow ethic party, and when our opponent goes to the Volta Region that is what they tell them.”
