Anloga DCE, Regional Minister Assess Flood Situation in Agorbledokui, Sakome and Fiaxor

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Anloga, Sandra Seyram Kpedor, together with the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, have visited flood-affected communities in the Anloga District to assess the extent of damage caused by recent flooding.

The team toured Agorbledokui, Sakome, and Fiaxor to inspect the situation on the ground and engage with residents affected by the floods.

The assessment also included an inspection of the Kome Road, which has been significantly impacted by the rising floodwaters, disrupting movement and posing challenges for residents and commuters.

The visit provided an opportunity for the Regional Minister to witness firsthand the effects of the flooding and understand the urgent needs of affected communities.

The Anloga District Assembly and the Regional Coordinating Council have assured residents of continued collaboration with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely support, relief efforts, and interventions to address the impact of the floods.
