Anloga will develop under its first female DCE – Fiaxor residents hopeful 

The chiefs and people of Fiaxor in the Anloga District of the Volta Region, have expressed hope that the area will see the needed development under its first female District Chief Executive (DCE) Ms Sandra Seyram Kpedor. 

Ms Kpedor on Thursday successfully obtained the required two-thirds of the votes of the Assembly members in the district, to confirm her nomination as the DCE responsible for the day-to-day performance of executive and administrative functions of the Assembly.

In a press release to congratulate Ms Kpedor on her appointment and confirmation, signed by Major (Rtd) Paul Korku Amegah, the Chairman of Fiaxor Youth Association, said Ms Kpedor would bring a female touch into the administration of the district for the common good of all.

“Her historic appointment as the first female DCE marks a significant milestone-not only for Anloga but for the entire nation. By breaking the proverbial glass ceiling, Hon. Sandra Kpedor has proven that when given the opportunity, women can make immense contributions to national development. 

We have every confidence that her leadership will usher in a new era of progress across key sectors including roads, education, healthcare, and agriculture, ensuring that the people of Anloga District receive their fair share of national development”.

The release concluded by wishing her a successful tenure and praying that the good Lord would guide her steps as she worked to bring her vision for the district to life.
