Woman Found Dead at Ho Main Lorry Station

A woman believed to be in her late 20s, identified as Olivia Viza, was discovered dead in the early hours of Thursday, June 26 at the Ho Main Lorry Station, around the main terminal and the Metro Mass Transit section.

An eyewitness at the station told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the deceased was a native of Hohoe and had arrived in Ho earlier that morning aboard a commercial vehicle from Kpando.

“Her phone was used to contact her relatives, who later came to the station and confirmed her identity,” said a worker at the scene. 

Personnel from the Ghana National Ambulance Service in Ho responded promptly. 

The deceased was declared dead at the Ho Teaching Hospital.

Her body has since been conveyed to the Ho Teaching Hospital morgue, where an autopsy is expected to be conducted to determine the cause of death.
