The Agave Development Association (ADA) last Thursday, April 27, 2023 commissioned a 10-Seater Toilet Facility as an upgrade to the Girls Dormitory at the Dabala Senior Technical High School.
The project was delivered by the Agave Development Association (ADA) in collaboration with the Transaction Banking Team of Stanbic Bank Ghana Ltd.
The ceremony was attended by about twenty-five (25) staff and management of Stanbic Bank Ghana Ltd. Also in attendance were members of the Agave Development Association (ADA), Chiefs and Elders of Dabala, Board of Governors DASTECH, the South Tongu District Director of Education, the MP for South Tongu, Management, Staff and Students of School.
The Chairman of the ADA, Mr. W.I.K. Azumah expressed gratitude to Stanbic Bank for partnering with the ADA towards delivering the facility.
The Secretary to the ADA, Mr. Yao Amekor spoke on the evolution of the ADA from a whatsapp platform set up late in 2015 to the legally registered Agave Development Association that conceived and engineered the delivery of the project. He called out a daughter of Agave, Ms. Francesca Bedzra as the link that brought the ADA and Stanbic Bank to partner in delivering the project.
The leader of the Stanbic Team, Musah Abdallah, who also heads the Banks’ Client Coverage for Africa Regions Core Markets, was inspirational when he had his turn to address the audience at the ceremony.
He charged the students to believe in their innate potential to do anything they set their minds on. He also tasked the students to take care of the facility and promised further collaboration with the school in the future.
The Headmistress of the School, Ms. Rose Nyawuto was full of gratitude to the ADA and Stanbic Bank for an absolutely essential facility delivered. While conceding the facility would significantly improve sanitary conditions at the girls’ dormitory. She promised that the school will take great care of the facility entrusted to them.
