President John Dramani Mahama is set to launch the Adwumawura programme in the Ashanti Region today, Monday, April 28, 2025.
A cornerstone of the government’s agenda, the programme aims to create at least 10,000 businesses annually, with a focus on youth empowerment.
The initiative, part of the 120-day social contract, is designed to tackle the country’s unemployment crisis.
Additionally, the President will launch the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (Mahama Cares) and the National Apprenticeship Programme later this week.
