Alan Kyerematen, the minister of trade and industry, has submitted his letter of resignation, which President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has accepted.
The Minister for Finance, Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta, has been instructed to serve as caretaker in the Ministry of Trade and Industry until a substantive appointment is made, according to a letter dated Friday, January 6, 2023.
However, the President praised Mr. Kyerematen for his contributions to the nation and to his government and wished him luck in his future endeavors.
