Assembly Member supports 2 health facilities at Sokode Gbogame

As part of efforts to promote good health care delivery in his electoral area, the Assembly Member for Sokode Gbogame, Hon. Dickson Mac-Billion Bansah, has supported some two CHPS compounds in Sokode with cash and some medical items.

The Assembly member donated a cash of two thousand Ghana cedis (Ghc2,000.00) to aid in buying some medical supplies for use in the facility at the Sokode Lokoe CHPS compound.

He also delivered three (3) streetlights to the facility for aesthetic values and enhancement of security in the area.

From Gbogame, he moved to Sokode Etoe CHPS where he donated two benches and one Tabletop fridge for preservation of vaccines and other drugs for safety.

Presenting the items, Mr. Mac Billion assured managers of the two facilities of his continues support to enable good health service delivery in the area.

However, the facility used the money donated to purchase some medical items three days after the donation as expected by the Assembly member.

The items including a digital Sphyg Andon, Gauze roll (100 yards), Surgical gloves, Examination gloves and a one crack hospital bed were purchased to add to the already existing ones.

Madam Savina Adjei Poku, the in-charge at the Sokode Lokoe CHIPS compound, thanked the Assembly member for his kind gestures and pledged on behalf of the staff to put the items into good use.

She further called for more benevolence assistance to support and promote quality health Service delivery at the CHIPS compound.
