Volta Region: Bawumia receives massive endorsement from delegates

Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, a frontrunner in the presidential race of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has received massive endorsement from delegates in the Volta Region.

Between Monday and Wednesday, Dr Bawumia and his campaign team were in Hohoe, Kpando, North Dayi, Afadjato South, South Dayi, North Tongu, Akatsi North, Akatsi South, South Tongu and Central Tongu.

He ended the tour in Agortime Ziope, Adaklu, Ho West and Ho Central on Thursday (14 September).

Bawumiamet with over 500 delegates in the two regions. He called on them to give him the mandate on 4 November as the next flagbearer of the “great family”.

He based his campaign message on his track records and how to lead the party to break the eight, saying “it is possible” to do it.

Almost all delegates in the 18 constituency of the region have announced their support for Dr Bawumia.

Regional communication officer of the party, Perry Kwashie said “wherever he went he had a massive endorsement from the delegates”.
