VOLTA UNION,UK AND EUROPE DONATES TO FLOOD VICTIMS IN GALOSOTA

Volta Union,UK, and Europe have donated some food items to flood victims in Galosota.


The group comprising some Voltarians living in the UK and Europe led by Togbui Patamia |V, chief of Srogboe, in Ghana donated fifty bags of 5kg rice,four crates of soft drink and a gallon of oil.

According to Togbui Patamia |V, who presented the items to the victims on behalf of the group said,they heard of the flooding situation when the Akosombo Dam was spilt some months ago and how it affected Galosota and Fiaxor, two towns in the Anloga District of the Vota region. ” I met my other executives of the Union, and we contributed money to buy some food items to console the victims this yuletide,” Togbui Patamia |V said.

He also advised the youths to stay away from deviant behaviours and support their chief, Togbui Korkudua ||| to call for more development in the area.

Togbui Korkudua ||| received the items on behalf of the Galosota town and thanked the donors.
