The Director of Health Services in Anloga,Madam Jemima Misonu Akporlu, has issued an urgent appeal for infrastructure support to enhance healthcare delivery in the district.
According to health officials, inadequate medical facilities, limited equipment, and poor infrastructure are severely affecting healthcare services, putting patients at risk.
Speaking at a recent stakeholders’ meeting, the Anloga Health Director emphasized the pressing need for investment in healthcare infrastructure to meet the growing demands of the population. “We are facing serious challenges due to a lack of essential facilities.
Our hospitals and clinics are overstretched, and without immediate intervention, healthcare delivery in Anloga will continue to suffer,” the director stated.
Residents in the district have long complained about poor health services, citing overcrowded hospitals, a shortage of medical supplies, and inadequate staffing as major concerns.
Many patients are forced to travel long distances to access specialized medical care, further straining the already burdened system.
Healthcare workers are calling on the government, private organizations, and development partners to prioritize infrastructure development in Anloga.
They stress that improving healthcare facilities will not only save lives but also promote better health outcomes for the community. Urgent intervention is needed to prevent further deterioration of healthcare services in the district.
