Mohammed Kudus, an attacking midfielder from Ghana, was unveiled by English Premier League club West Ham United after they signed him from Ajax.
Following weeks of rumors, the Hammers officially announced the 23-year-old’s acquisition on Sunday night.
Kudus signs a five-year contract with the East London club that will last through 2028, with an additional one-year option.
At his unveiling, the Right to Dream graduate was accompanied by his mother and two brothers.
Since then, the touching photos of him and his mother taken at the London Stadium have gone popular on social media.
Mohammed Kudus has played 87 times for the Dutch juggernaut Ajax since moving there from Nordsjaelland in 2020, tallying 27 goals and 12 assists.
During his three seasons at the Johan Cruyff Arena, he won the Eredivisie twice and the Dutch Cup once.
